Tanya Rozaklis
Prior to becoming a provisional psychologist, Tanya has spent almost 10 years working for large corporations as a case manager, and as a financial hardship consultant assisting individuals who have struggled with financial issues with care and compassion. Tanya has also run therapy sessions with children in a one-on-one setting and facilitated social skills training for all ages, from which she has gained experience working with individuals with ADHD and Autism. She is a warm, open-minded provisional psychologist who endeavours to explore a client’s story in a safe space without judgement and works collaboratively with clients to develop a course of action that best suits their needs.
Tanya is completing her final years of study for her Master of Professional Psychology at LaTrobe University, from which she has gained experience in assessing and developing personalised plans for treating depression, anxiety, panic disorders, ADHD, and OCD. She feels passionate about assisting people struggling from these issues, as well as other mental health concerns.
Tanya feels very strongly about the importance of using evidence-based therapies to help her clients achieve their goals and improve their wellbeing. She is experienced in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Applied Behavioural Analysis.
When she is not at work, Tanya enjoys taking her son to the park and having a good chill out session at the beach or sometimes binge watching a good Netflix series.
