Amanda Haselgrove

Amanda is a Clinical Psychologist who has been providing therapeutic support to adults in private practice for the last seven years. Prior to this, she held various positions of employment in the community within the areas of defence, policing, immigration, and in outreach mental health support.

She enjoys working with adults to address a wide range of concerns. These include, but are not limited to, reduced coping, burnout, adjustment difficulties, generalised or social anxiety, perfectionism, problematic anger, managing conflict, depression, low self-esteem, assertiveness or boundary setting, depression, suicidal thinking, self-harming behaviours, emotional dysregulation, or traumatic reactions.

Amanda delivers therapy in a warm, empathetic, honest, and conscientious way. Her approach to treatment draws on aspects of Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Prolonged Exposure Therapy, Mindfulness, and Schema Therapy. She will work with clients to tailor each session to their immediate needs while considering strategies for longer term change.

Amanda consults at BlueSky Psychology on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
